What is Cortex? 

Cortex is a brain-training puzzle game with hundreds of logic puzzles across multiple difficulty levels. It's designed to challenge your thinking and keep your mind sharp.


Is Cortex free? 

Yes! Cortex is free to download and play. You can optionally purchase credit packs to use hints when you're stuck on a puzzle.


Gameplay


How do I play? 

Select a difficulty level, choose a puzzle, and follow the on-screen instructions. Each puzzle type has its own rules — read the brief description before starting.


What are the difficulty levels? 

Cortex offers multiple difficulty tiers ranging from beginner to expert. Harder puzzles require more advanced logic and pattern recognition.


Can I replay puzzles? 

Yes, you can replay any puzzle you've already completed.


Credits & Hints


What are credits? 

Credits are an in-game currency used to unlock hints. Hints help you when you're stuck on a puzzle by revealing part of the solution.


How do I get credits? 

You can purchase credit packs from the in-game store:

  • 10      Credits — $0.99
  • 25      Credits — $1.99 (Most Popular)
  • 50      Credits — $3.99
  • 100      Credits — $6.99

Do credits expire? 

No, credits never expire. Use them whenever you need them.


Purchases & Billing


How do I make a purchase? 

Tap the store icon in the app to view available credit packs. Purchases are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.


Can I get a refund? 

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, depending on your platform. Please contact their support for refund requests:

  • Apple Support
  • Google Play Support


I purchased credits but they didn't appear. What do I do?

Try the "Restore Purchases" option in the Settings menu. If the issue persists, contact us.


Technical Issues


The app is crashing. What should I do? 

Make sure you're running the latest version of Cortex. Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem continues, contact us with your device model and OS version.


How do I restore my purchases on a new device? 

Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases." This will restore any credits linked to your Apple ID or Google account.
