Automatically Collected Information: We may collect certain information automatically, including device type, operating system version, and app usage statistics to improve our service.

• Display      public holiday data and long weekend opportunities
• Display      school holiday schedules for European countries
• Store      your saved long weekends locally on your device
• Schedule      local notification reminders for saved holidays
• Add      holiday events to your personal calendar (with your permission)
• Improve      user experience
• Analyze      usage patterns
• Fix      bugs and technical issues

4. Data Storage and Security

Your country selections, saved long weekends, and notification preferences are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. Holiday data is fetched in real-time from our servers. Notification reminders are scheduled locally on your device and are not sent through external servers. Calendar events are added directly to your device calendar and are not stored on our servers. We implement appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Nager.Date API – to retrieve public holiday information for 100+ countries      worldwide.
• OpenHolidays API –      to retrieve school holiday information for 30+ European countries.

These third-party services may collect certain technical information. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

6. Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

• Calendar      Access – to add holidays and saved long weekends to your device      calendar. This is optional and only triggered when you tap "Add to      Calendar."
• Notifications –      to send local push notification reminders before your saved holidays. This      is optional and can be toggled on or off in Settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access      your personal data
• Request      deletion of your data
• Opt      out of analytics collection
• Request      a copy of your data
